GAMMADDA BRINGS HAPPINESS TO NIKAPOTHA VILLAGE

Nikapotha Maha Vidyalaya is situated nearly 2,230 feet above sea level in the picturesque Badulla District. This school is listed under the Bandarawela Educational Zone and Haldummulla Division. Approximately 250 students are educated in the school, with a teaching staff of 30.

Despite being surrounded by an ecologically rich environment, the pressing issue that students and parents face is the lack of a proper water supply system for the school.

In response to the principal's request, the Gammadda team has taken steps to lay the foundation stone to initiate the construction of a water distribution system, which includes a 2000-liter stock tank. The commencement ceremony was held on May 31, 2024.

This project is expected to be successful, thanks to the generous contribution from the Airline Pilots' Guild of Sri Lanka.
